Permanent LED Track Lighting in Glenview & Surrounding Chicagoland Neighborhoods

Trusted by 180+ Chicagoland neighbors

The problem we see

Glenview homes and businesses get the same careful, properly-priced exterior cleaning and seasonal lighting service we provide across DuPage and Cook County. From annual house washing to Christmas light installs and permanent LED tracks, we tailor every job to Chicagoland's climate and to your property.

How we approach it

Permanent LED tracks are the most-requested upgrade in Chicagoland right now. A discreet aluminum channel installs under your roof line — barely visible from the street — and houses individually-addressable RGBW LED pixels that can do warm white for everyday accent lighting, full color for holidays, sports team colors on game day, custom patterns and animations year-round. You control everything from an app on your phone. Once installed, you never put up Christmas lights again.

What to expect on the day

We install premium track systems (Jellyfish, Trimlight, EverLights and Gemstone, depending on what fits your home and budget). Every install is custom-cut to your roof line, runs hidden wiring through soffits and ridge lines, and includes a professionally-mounted controller in your garage or attic. We program the initial scenes (warm white, fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, July 4th, sports colors, etc.) so the system works out of the box.

What sets us apart

The economics make sense: a one-time install of $5,000–$15,000 for a typical home (depending on linear feet, system tier, and add-ons) replaces 10+ years of Christmas light install/takedown bills, eliminates the 'lights are out and it's December 23rd' panic, and adds tasteful low-power accent lighting that boosts curb appeal year-round. Most customers pay the system off in five to seven years just on what they would have spent on annual Christmas light service.

Getting a quote

We're a certified installer in DuPage and Cook County for the major permanent lighting brands. Every install includes the lights, the controller, the wiring, the programming, a warranty (typically 3–5 years on the lights, lifetime on the channel), and a walkthrough so you know how to use the app.

What's included

Every job comes with the same checklist. No surprises.

  • Free in-home design consultation and demo
  • Custom-cut aluminum channel hidden under your roof line
  • Premium RGBW + warm-white individually-addressable LED pixels
  • Hidden wiring routed through soffits, eaves and conduit
  • Smart controller installed in the garage or attic
  • App setup on iOS/Android with initial scene programming
  • Pre-loaded holiday, seasonal, sports and everyday scenes
  • Wi-Fi connectivity and schedule automation (sunset-on, midnight-off, etc.)
  • Manufacturer warranty (3–5 years on pixels, lifetime on channel)
  • Walkthrough and training so you can program your own scenes

How it works

1

Free demo + design

We bring a sample track to your home, show you how it looks lit, walk your roof line and design the install — front-only, full perimeter, gables, trees, whatever you want. We send a written quote within a couple of days.

2

Schedule install

Most installs take one full day. Two-person crew, ladders, lifts where needed. We coordinate scheduling around weather — we don't install in freezing temps or rain.

3

Install day

Custom-cut channel mounted to fascia or soffit, LED pixels seated and tested, wiring routed and hidden, controller mounted, app paired. Every section tested before we leave.

4

Programming + training

We pre-load 15–20 scenes (warm white, holidays, sports, everyday). We walk you through the app, show you how to schedule, build your own scenes, and set seasonal automation. Most customers are running their own scenes the same night.

Why this matters in Chicagoland

Chicagoland's climate is brutal on exteriors

Chicagoland weather is the perfect testing ground for permanent track lighting. The channel and pixels are rated for –40°F to 150°F, IP67 waterproofing, and the channel itself is a non-corroding aluminum extrusion that handles freeze-thaw cycles, road salt spray and summer thunderstorms without degradation. The systems we install have a 5-year track record in our area with effectively zero failures.

Why proper technique matters here

The convenience factor is the real sell. You stop climbing ladders in November. You stop driving to the storage unit to dig out the bins. You stop calling someone every November and December to ask 'can you fit me in?' Tap the app, your house is in Halloween orange. Tap it again on November 1st, it's autumn. December 1st, it's Christmas. January 1st, back to warm-white accent lighting.

DuPage & Cook County realities

Curb appeal year-round is the other reason customers go this route. A subtle warm-white wash on the roof line at night looks like the architectural lighting on a high-end Wheaton or Hinsdale custom build. It's tasteful, low-key and welcoming, and it's running on under 100 watts for the whole house. Resale value boost on luxury homes is real here.

HOA, insurance, and resale pressure

HOA neighborhoods love it because the channel is barely visible during the day. From the street, you see a slim aluminum line under the roof and nothing else. No tangled wires, no big bulbs, no off-season clutter. Approvals in Heron Bay, Tall Grass, White Eagle and other HOA-strict communities have been fast.

Seasonal timing that pays off

Glenview sees the same Midwest temperature swings, freeze-thaw cycles, summer humidity and seasonal algae growth as the rest of Chicagoland. Annual house washing is the standard for residential exteriors, and most homes also book us for holiday lighting and an end-of-season driveway clean.

Signs it's time to call us

If any of these sound familiar, you're overdue.

You're tired of annual Christmas light install bills
You want lighting that works on Halloween, Thanksgiving, July 4th and game day
Your home has multiple gable peaks and dormers (perfect for pixel mapping)
You like the look of warm-white architectural lighting year-round
An HOA approved permanent lighting but only the discreet channel kind
You're remodeling or replacing fascia anyway (perfect time to install)

What affects the price

Every property is different. These are the things we look at when we quote.

  • Total linear feet of roof line covered
  • System tier (Trimlight, Jellyfish, Gemstone, EverLights)
  • Pixel density (per-foot count affects animation smoothness)
  • Number of gable peaks, dormers and architectural details
  • Wiring complexity (soffit routing, attic access, controller placement)
  • Add-ons (tree-wrapping pixels, landscape pixel paths, dock lighting)
  • Warranty tier (extended 5-year vs 3-year)
