Christmas Light Installation in Rosemont & Surrounding Chicagoland Neighborhoods
The problem we see
Rosemont homes and businesses get the same careful, properly-priced exterior cleaning and seasonal lighting service we provide across DuPage and Cook County. From annual house washing to Christmas light installs and permanent LED tracks, we tailor every job to Chicagoland's climate and to your property.
How we approach it
We install, maintain and take down traditional Christmas lights across DuPage and Cook County. Roof lines, gable peaks, gutters, trees, wreaths, bushes — whatever you want lit, our crew handles it. You don't climb a ladder, you don't store the lights, and you don't troubleshoot a dead strand on December 23rd at 9pm. That's our job.
What to expect on the day
We use commercial-grade C9 and mini-LED bulbs, custom-cut to your roof line on the day of install. No 'close enough' big-box-store strands draped over the gutter. Every clip is a proper plastic ridge or gutter clip — no nails, no staples, nothing that punctures shingles or fascia. The whole install is engineered to come down cleanly after the season without leaving a mark.
What sets us apart
Most single-story Naperville, Wheaton or Lombard homes book a full perimeter roof line plus a few wreaths and end up in the $600–$1,200 range. Two-story homes with multiple gable peaks and tree-wrapping run $1,200–$2,500. Larger estates in Hinsdale, Burr Ridge or Glen Ellyn with full landscape lighting, wrapped trees and synced timers can run $2,500–$5,000+. Every package includes installation, mid-season service calls, takedown in January, and storage of your lights until next year.
Getting a quote
Booking opens in August. The calendar fills by mid-October and we stop taking new installs once we're booked out for the season — usually by Halloween. If you wait until Black Friday, we'll do our best, but the prime weekends fill first.

How it works
Design consult
We walk your property (in person or via photos), talk through the look you want — classic warm white, multi-color, modern cool white, mixed — and send a written quote within a day or two. No pressure, no upsell.
Book a date
Most installs happen between early November and the first week of December. You pick a window, we confirm the day, and we schedule installation crews in routes by neighborhood for efficiency.
Install day
Two-person crew, two to four hours for most homes. We bring the lights, the ladders, the clips and the timers. You don't lift a finger. We test every strand before we leave and walk the install with you at the end.
Season service + takedown
If anything fails during the season, we come out and fix it — usually within 48 hours. In early January we come back, take it all down, pack it up and store it for next year.
Why this matters in Chicagoland
Chicagoland's climate is brutal on exteriors
Chicagoland winters are brutal on holiday lighting. Snow, ice dams, wind, single-digit temperatures and the salt spray that the plows kick up all destroy big-box-store lights within a season. Commercial-grade LEDs rated for outdoor cold weather are the only ones that consistently make it through to January without failing.
Why proper technique matters here
Climbing a ladder in 20-degree weather, on icy gutters, with a strand of lights in one hand, is exactly the kind of thing that lands people in the emergency room every December. We do it daily, with full insurance, proper fall protection and the right equipment. It's not worth the risk to do it yourself.
DuPage & Cook County realities
HOA-rich neighborhoods like Heron Bay (Burr Ridge), White Eagle (Naperville) and Tall Grass have appearance standards that big-box-store lights can't meet. Custom-cut, perfectly straight rooflines with consistent bulb spacing read as professional. Sagging strands with a foot of slack at the corner don't.
HOA, insurance, and resale pressure
Storage is the unsung benefit. A custom-cut light set for a 3,500 sqft Wheaton home would fill a large bin and tangle into a knot by next October. We label and store every set by customer so next year's install takes half the time and costs less.
Seasonal timing that pays off
Rosemont sees the same Midwest temperature swings, freeze-thaw cycles, summer humidity and seasonal algae growth as the rest of Chicagoland. Annual house washing is the standard for residential exteriors, and most homes also book us for holiday lighting and an end-of-season driveway clean.
Signs it's time to call us
If any of these sound familiar, you're overdue.
What affects the price
Every property is different. These are the things we look at when we quote.
- Linear feet of roof line (front, sides, back)
- Number of stories, gable peaks and dormers
- Bulb style (C9 vs mini-LED) and color choice
- Tree wrapping, wreaths, garland and bush lighting add-ons
- Roof complexity (steep pitch, slate, metal)
- First-year install (custom cut) vs returning customer reinstall
- Whether takedown and storage are included (they are in our packages)
